Charlotte Cornelius x My Dog Sighs Jewellery Collection Now Available Online.
A truly exceptional new Jewellery Collection - a creative collaboration between Charlotte Cornelius and internationally acclaimed street artist My Dog Sighs. Blending our signature styles, this collection is a fascinating adventure in making 3D wearable Street Art in precious materials!
“To me, the adventure and energy of this collection comes from working together in totally different mediums to create wearable art jewellery that has beauty in its own right whilst incorporating the vibrant dynamism and recognisable detail of My Dog Sighs’ urban art.”

I enjoy thinking outside the box and first had the idea to work with our amazing local Street artists before lockdown …. and although the idea then had to go on hold it never went away. As a My Dog Sighs fan already, I was fascinated by his Inside exhibition and book and always loved spotting his eyes around Portsmouth and even on a visit to Miami. Having launched our Poseidon Seagrass jewellery collection last year I still couldn’t shake the idea so I reconnected with him about revisiting the collaboration and so it began…
How could we capture the vitality of paint ?
We couldn’t create such a collection without colour - however gold and silver is such a different medium to work with - I love the juxtaposition of using such opposite materials.
How can we work to scale ?
We had several long design meetings together as we worked out the technical details on how small we can go and how much detail we can keep in so that the work is immediately recognisable as My Dog Sighs. How can we represent the fineness of eye lashes whilst keeping practical for every day wear?

Experiment Experiment!
We brainstormed lots of ideas together about how we could both represent the black outline of Everyman and the Eye, as well as the splashes of colour and details that are represented.
We scoured our suppliers for Black Rhodium plating as an alternative to Oxidisation for outlines and definition and tried different hand plating equipment for highlighting and outlining details.
Traditionally enamelling is used for colour in jewellery, however, we decided that nothing could represent spray paint better than the real thing - So we experimented with My Dog Sighs hand painted silver discs with detailed irises and Charlotte had the idea of setting them under watch glass crystal to protect the paint - at the time of writing this, test pieces are on-going - suffice to say our expert stone setter had not set a watch glass before which is domed on both sides just to be more tricky, and the first one we tried had to be carefully smashed out and replaced as it was not sitting level!
He carried a fully spray-painted Everyman pendant in his jeans pocket for 2 weeks in order to test how long the finish would last. It survived well in all the indented areas so we sourced some special clear top coat to fix it and contrast the raised silver areas with the multi colour spray effect.
Hannah, our CAD specialist designer was intrinsic in this journey:
“The MDS collaboration is something I am intensely proud of. From a CAD perspective, trying to replicate the intricacies of My Dog Sighs eyes is incredibly complex. Modelling eyes on the computer, trying to make them look realistic whilst making them work as a desirable piece of jewellery, was a challenge!
The Full Eye Signet rings in particular have gone through many different versions and I now have a back catalog of iris variations! Every iris pattern is intricately detailed in different levels. I love how these super chunky rings have the bubbles inset down the sides, a subtle nod to the shared symbol of Charlotte's signature bubble design & My Dog Sighs' painted bubbles.
One thing I love about these signet rings is that we can customize the figures reflected in the iris to you and make them truly bespoke.
The Everyman figures are more straightforward to model, the challenge was to replicate the hand drawn lines and charming expressions on their faces and translate it into jewellery.
The most challenging aspect of this collection has been working out how to combine My Dog Sighs' spray paint with the silver in a way that allows it to be wearable and not immediately rub off.
The ultimate piece is where the diamonds and spray paint combine the best of both worlds.“

From My Dog Sighs:
"It has been a true honour to collaborate with the incredible team at Charlotte Cornelius in bringing this collection to life. From the very beginning, this has been a deeply creative partnership. One where my artistic vision has been beautifully transformed through CC’s extraordinary craftsmanship, expertise, and attention to detail.
I’ve been continually inspired by the way the team has interpreted and elevated my ideas, shaping them into exquisite forms that reflect both their technical mastery and our shared vision. The process has been not only collaborative but genuinely enriching. I’ve learnt so much. A true exchange of ideas, skill, and passion that I’ve treasured throughout the process.
Together, we’ve created something that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.
I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved, and I believe the pieces speak to the shared energy of this partnership.
While I’ve always loved seeing my work in people’s homes, there’s something truly special about it being ready to wear bespoke art; pieces that carry meaning and beauty."
